The Warrior Soccer team opened it's season with a resounding 6-1 win over Belleville Mennonite.  Ibrahim Fadika '11 scored 2 goals, Kevin Castillo '11 scored 2,  Reda Ohsain '10 and Moses Lee, '11, chipped in the final goals.

The boys are back in action on Saturday against Lourdes Regional HS at 1:00pm.

The rain did nothing to dampen the fire in the Warriors as they ran out convincing 12-4 victors against the visiting Lourdes Regional HS.

Juniata HS brought their 7-1 record to new Bloomfield and they were given a scare.  Juniata scored after 10 mins of the kick off, but were then held scoreless and outshot for the next 60 mins. Unfortunately none of the CLI shots were able to breach the Juniata GK and with time running out, and fatigue setting in, Juniata scored twice in the last 10 mins to secure a 3-0 victory.

Paced by balanced scoring, CLI beat YCD 5-0 to spoil the host's Homecoming. Goals in the first half by Moses Lee '11, Ivan Stankevitch '11, Ricardo Garcia '10 and Reda Ohsain '10 put the Warriors up by 4 at half time.  Ibrahim Fadika '11 scored the only goal of the 2nd half.

The Warriors return to action as they host Harrisburg Academy on Monday, Oct 4th at 4:00pm

The Spartans of Harrisburg Academy, defending SIAC Champions, were beaten by the Warriors 5-2.  Goals in the first 15 minutes by Ibrahim Fadika '11, Kevin Castillo '11 and Reda Ohsain '10, paced Carson Long to an early lead. Academy got one back midway through the first half, but Ibrahim fadika '11 gave Carson Long the 4-1 half time lead. Solid defence and a Reda Ohsain '10 rocket to the top carner rounded out the CLI scoring, allowing just one more score for Harrisburg Academy.

The Warriors were humbled 6-0 by Juniata HS. They return to action on Saturday hosting Fannett-Metal HS at 3:00pm

The Warrior Soccer team played Fannett-Metal tough thru 70 minutes, carrying a 1-1 tie into the last 10 minutes of the game, Fannett-Metal came up with 2 goals to win 3-1. 
Ibrahim Fadika '11 scored CLI's only goal.

Carson Long returns to action on Monday at home to Greenwood HS.

After beating Harrisburg Academy at home, a totally different Warrior team showed up in Harrisburg, and proceeded to be beaten 4-1.
Placing undue stress ontheir season, the Warriors must now win out their league games in order to secure a SIAC Championship.

Knowing what was at stake, the Warriors travelled to Belleville with only one intention......a win to keep Title dreams alive.
After a sluggish start, goals from Ibrahim Fadika '11, Kevin Castillo '11, Sofyane El Sagher '11 and Reda Ohsain '10 paced Carson Long to a 4-1 win. Title hopes still alive, and with a win on 10/23, Carson Long will secure its first SIAC title.

Lancaster Country Day came to town and Carson Long could not match their physical play and good skill, and LCDS ran away 7-1 winners. Eugene Veselov '11 scored the Warriors lone goal.

Last game of the regular seaon is on Friday, 10/23 against York Country Day. Victory here secures the SIAC title for the Warriors.

The PIAA District 3 tournament pairings were announced today. Carson Long ranked #14 will play #3 seed Lancaster Country Day.

Carson Long secured their first SIAC Championship by beating YCDS 4-2. Goals by Ibrahim Fadika '11, Reda Ohsain '10, Kevin Castillo '11 secured the victory.

The PIAA District 3 tournament game against Lancaster Country Day was a different encounter from the last game at CLI. With  a few tactical changes, the Warrirors were able to keep LCDS closer but defensive mistakes led to the Warriors giving up 2 first half goals.
In the second half, carson Long was able to create more chances, but couldnt find the back of the net. LCDS ran out 3-0 winners, but a great season for the Warriors Soccer players, claiming the SIAC Title.
